The Ring
I bought that ring when I was pregnant of my son.
I chose it because of the combination of Tree of Life and the « Gratitude » inscription carved into the ring. I though it graphically carried out how I felt.
Since my 25th birthday, all I wanted was to have a kid but I knew I had to make important choices to make it happen. Finally, it was the gift life gave me on my 36th birthday.
If you have been pregnant, you know it ain’t always easy. You have to overcome great fears and physical important changes. But like I said, I had wanted to be a mother since I was 25 years old. And I fought and worked hard on myself to end up giving birth to the most amazing little boy. So, I wore and looked at that ring (still am) everyday as a reminder of my gratitude. And looking at it, I realized that this dream came true because I kept a positive attitude in life and was thankful for all the little steps I would take toward that dream.
An Attitude to Keep
So, for me anyway, Gratitude is an Attitude that can change any ordinary life into a life full of light, kindness for ourselves an others and full of love.
